KIM SWAN
BROKER/OWNER
Kim focuses on business development and selective brokerage of luxury and commercial properties. She also oversees the marketing, public relations and social media programs, focusing on staying ahead of the curve. Kim resides primarily in Bar Harbor but spends much of her time visiting her investments properties up and down the coast.
Having the opportunity to be in a quaint, coastal town one minute, and in Portland experiencing all aspects of city living the next, is one of her favorite parts about living and working in Maine.
DANA MOOS
BROKER, DIRECTOR OF LODGING AND HOSPITALITY BROKERAGE
Dana Moos is a Maine real estate broker selling inns, bed and breakfasts and small boutique hotels and motels throughout Maine. She is also an experienced innkeeper/owner, hospitality investor and cookbook author who has written The Art of Breakfast (1st and 2nd editions) and LOBSTER: 75 Recipes Celebrating the World's Favorite Seafood.
As a native Washingtonian who grew up outside DC in the Maryland suburbs before moving to Maine to buy a B&B, Dana has fully embraced a more enjoyable pace: "Maine, the way life should be." She has over 30 years of combined experience in real estate management and development, financing, construction and innkeeping. And since 2008, nearly half of that time she has spent as a commercial lodging and hospitality broker in Maine.
With over 170 million dollars in hospitality sales, Dana is very well versed in the industry. Whether representing a buyer or seller, she’ll help you understand the nuances of a hospitality transaction and guide you through the intricate steps. Dana's strengths in marketing, financing, understanding of tourism and hospitality and her creative vision will help sellers with their transition into their next stages and help buyers pursue and live the Maine hospitality lifestyle, successfully.
Dana also has a foodie side: for 10 years she was a guest chef cooking instructor at Stonewall Kitchen in York, Maine, until they closed the school at the end of 2021. She hopes her passions about food, photography, art, Maine travel, social media and engagement and inspiring others is evident in her social media posts. Dana won the Maine Lobster Chef of the Year People’s Choice at Harvest on the Harbor in October 2018, and won both first place Judge’s and People’s Choice for her Best Lobster Bite at the 2018 Boothbay Harbor Claw Down competition in October.
Dana has three mottoes: everything in moderation; wine and cheese; and her glass is always half full!
But most importantly, Dana says: "I’ve successfully walked in an inn buyer and seller’s shoes, from acquisition to exit strategy. Whether a buyer or seller, I help clients understand the nuances of a hospitality transaction and guide them through the intricate steps. I don’t sell real estate, I sell a lifestyle. DIANE PACE
SALES AGENT
Diane Pace has an extensive corporate marketing and branding background working in Massachusetts, but has owned property in Maine for over 20 years, and always wanted to buy into the Maine hospitality lifestyle, like many inn buyers! In 2013 Diane made the leap, purchasing The Lighthouse Inn & Carriage House in York Beach, a 31 room boutique inn and motel. After 5 years she listed the inn for sale in 2018. After closing on the sale in March of 2019, Diane then decided to take advantage of the strong Portland market and purchased the West End Inn, which Diane sold in December of 2021. But it was through these real estate transactions that she was introduced to the Swan Agency and Dana Moos, who brokered each of those deals.
In 2021, as the hospitality market continued to boom in Maine, Diane decided to join forces with Dana and the Swan agency, to bring her first hand hospitality experience to the sellers looking for brokers who truly understand the nuances of their business, and the buyers...investors, young entrepreneurs, and seasoned hospitality professionals who understand the value of the Maine tourism market and its continued potential. Since Swan Agency has long been involved in hospitality brokerage, they’ve always put emphasis on the lodging and hospitality ‘specialist’, as one who has owned and operated their own inn, that allow them to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk.
Diane continues to invest in hospitality ventures, and when not assisting Dana and their buyers and sellers, she enjoys time with family and friends in Concord MA and Ogunquit ME.
ERICA BROOKS
ASSOCIATE BROKER
Erica enjoys working with both buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions, focusing her efforts in the Mount Desert Island and greater Hancock County areas.
Erica is very active in social media marketing and was even featured as a local agent on the HGTV show “Island Life” which premiered in January 2015. In both 2013 and 2015 Erica was awarded “Top Producing Agent” at The Swan Agency and was awarded Acadia Council 2016 "Realtor of the Year."
